Envisioned
by the Founder Billy Don Kenney, AKA B.D.K., the
A-State Boys were to become an elite group of riders and
the most respected club on the set. Approached by
B.D.K., Drew Barnett, AKA Superbike Drew, was
drawn to the concept of an elite group and thus the
A-State Boys arrived on the scene. Formed in February of
2007 the Boys hit the streets hard with the help of
public relations and internet advertising from
Mike
Provost, AKA Batman, a local entrepreneur. Respect
came easy for the A-State Boys considering the level of
talent the club produced. Everything from drag racing,
stunting, hardcore street riding and beyond was the
mainstay of the club. The Boys became the sickest,
fastest club on the set and thus began to grow quickly.
During the fall of 2007 some members left and some new
ones came. Visions became divided and a few riders left
to begin other clubs. Overall, the division was a
success for the set and the Boys due to the fact that
former members have began clubs in the area and are
growing.
Throughout 2007
the elite riders remained to rep the club to it's
fullest potential but were less active on the streets.
Beginning in the Spring of 2008 word on the set began to
spread about the return of the 501's elite rider core.
As of May 2008 the Boys are back, reppin' stronger than
ever. With B.D.K. as the Founder,
Travis Lemmons
as President and
Jason Kellum
as Vice President
along with a new officer core of dedicated riders, the
A-State Boys are now the same highly respected sport
bike club they have always been. With the A-State Boys,
one thing is certainly true...
Respect
commands itself and it can neither be given nor withheld
when it is due!
